Today marks the one year anniversary of the launching of Casting My Net!
This time has been quite a journey for me — learning all sorts of new things like photo editing and SEO, linky parties and blog hopping, and social media like google plus, stumble upon, and yes, after much resistance, even twitter. I also have a lot more to learn in all of those areas. However, the technical aspects of blogging itself are a means to an end for me. It is my overall desire to use this blog to encourage believers, spread the gospel, and share insights and ministry ideas that others can use in their service for Christ. I am always encouraged when someone lets me know that they found something on this site helpful.
In my very first post (which I later made into a permanent page), Casting My Net, I explained the inspiration for the name I chose for my blog. Then, throughout the year, I posted 40 articles on a variety of subjects. Some of these resonated with you more than others. Here are the posts from this last year with the most views. Did you have a favorite that didn’t make the top 6? Let me know in the comments!

If you find this blog helpful or encouraging, please consider following it on some of the social media or even sign up to receive blog updates by email. Time goes by so quickly, and I can’t believe that this year has already passed. Thanks so much for stopping by and reading! May God receive all the glory!
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17 (ESV)
With Joy,
Kathleen
